Jobs in West Lafayette/ Lafayette, Indiana?
I'm a recent college grad (BA History) I have been looking online for job in this area for months with no luck. (I'm from out of state) Does anyone know of any companies that are hiring that may not have website or using online site. Any help would be great!
Do you have to stay in the Lafayette/W Lafayette area? It's a tight market there - the college supports most of the community - quickly followed by hospitals and then Subaru and Wabash...so basically not much to offer.
Add to that the degree...are you only considering jobs where you can sue it? If so, you will be SEVERELY limited. You need to step outta your area and just use the degree to get you in the door of folks looking for anyone with a degree.
You can look to Frito in Frankfort - about thirty minutes Southish of you - find them at the Pepsico site. There are other factory places in Frankfort - Zachary confections, etc...check out that area, apply to supervisor or as Frito calls them, Resource roles.
