U.s. Job Satisfaction
Name one member of the U.S. Congress who doesn't misrepresent the truth?
I don't want to get into the semantics of lies, situational morality and ethics, but I would like a brief synopsis of whether or not is even possible to tell the whole truth and remain in high political office, such as the White House or the U.S. And, for that matter, the head of any administrative offices or upper military leadership. I think such people would scoff at such a question, being so obvious to them. The thing is, how long can they get any satisfaction from their high office. All I can think of is that it just becomes a habit of sorts. Any kind of job eventually becomes familiar and more of habit than anything else. Like coffee in the morning. a sandwich at lunch and a cocktail before dinner. Purpose and meaning is about maintaining the daily and annual routine, whether conservative or liberal. Change becomes routine. Sameness becomes routine. That is their alleged functions and, by god, they are just doing their jobs.
I would think Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul perhaps.
U.s. Job Satisfaction
Brian Redhead: 'How to get job satisfaction'
Should the U.S. start its own Gross National Happiness scale?
"The main concerns have been identified as psychological well-being, health, education, good governance, living standards, community vitality and ecological diversity.
The main purpose of the index is to evaluate whether the plans, policies and programmes of the government conform to the GNH concept," said Phuntsho Rapten of the Centre for Bhutan Studies, which conducted the survey."

We could tie our index to the number of people on antidepressants, job satisfaction, divorce, and alcoholism.
sounded funny at first...but on further consideration...why not? it is our country after all. maybe it could untangle or shed light on and solutions to problems detracting from the average american's well being.
