NYC-What's better? (Condo vs Loft vs House)?

I'm 19 working 2 jobs & going to school. I have been working since I was 17 making 8+/hr. & have started building a solid credit score. I also have a lot of the money I've earned in a brokerage because I want a buy a Condo, Loft or House in 6-10yrs. But my question is what's better? (Condo vs Loft vs Traditional Single Family House)? There are two forms of apartment* ownership in NYC - condo or co-op.
