I want to study psychology abroad, but I my new school doesn't give GCSEs.?
I just moved to Istanbul in Turkey and I will be going to Coskun high school for year 9. I have done the british system since year five and and I was doing the american system before that. Coskun is doing the Turkish system and it doesn't give GCSEs. There are a few British/American schools I could go to, but I've heard that they only give you ONE A level and I think you need more for a psychologist.
I could study psychology here in Turkey, but I want to work somewhere like Britain, America or whatever and I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to get a job if I get my degree in Turkey. HELP?
This is okay. A British university will not penalize you for not being able to take GCSEs when they're not available to you. They will understand your unique circumstances and will keep that in mind during the admission process. And an American school won't care at all because GCSEs aren't used in the US. Instead they may require something else from you, like a Turkish equivalent or for you to take some sort of exam that measures your skills in certain areas. When you start high school, meet with your school counselor to find out more on what you will need to do, as it is likely this person will know or will be able to find out for you. If the counselor doesn't speak English fluently or you don't know fluent Turkish, be sure to bring along a translator because you want to make sure you are understood and understand her 110%.

Aldeas SOS is a non government organization with emphasis on human rights for kids an adolecents, based on the United Nation convention.Aldeas SOS were born in 1949 in Austria, extending the model to over 132 countries world wide. Aldeas SOS came for the first time to Nicaragua after the 1972 earthquake, to help the victims of this natural disaster which devastated our capital, extending in over 35 years to others departments in the country, and helping over 6,500 kids from extremely poor families, orphans, or abuse children for whom we offer an alternate protective families. Our mission is to create families for children in need of love, we help them to create their own future, and also we participate in the community development. There are a wide variety of ways to help, from feeding and burping, to changing diapers, to dedicate time and help older kids with their homework, teach basic English, help to cook, do the dishes, you name it, job is always available when there are 190 kids under 14.
