Parking Lot Striping in Denver Colorado - A Quick Guide to Getting the Job Done Right the First Time

Are you thinking about getting some parking lot striping done in the Denver area soon? I would suggest reading this quick guide so that your job gets done the correct way and for a fair price. I guarantee you will be glad you took a couple minutes to do so. Not all parking lot striping is created equal.

Make Sure you are working with a parking lot striping company in Denver

If you are contracting with a general contractor, maintenance company, or paving company etc. rather than a company that specializes, you will be paying generally 10-25% more than you should be. Typically these companies will take down your information and call a specialty company that does parking lot striping in Denver and get a price from them. Then they mark it up and give it back to you. In some cases these companies may have in-house striping, but more often than not they will get a price from a different company and pass the mark up to you.

Get at least 2 prices for your parking lot striping

The fact of the matter is that parking lot striping is going to cost pretty much the same for every company in the Denver area. There is no way of telling if you are getting ripped off unless you get a couple different price quotes. You will accomplish a few things by doing this. You will be able to see the details (how many pavement markings and what type) as well as the prices of each bid, which will help you to understand what you will be paying for. This will allow you to ask questions if there are discrepancies between the two and will help ensure you are treated fairly.

Make sure the contractor knows what they are doing.

There are many contractors out there that will sell and take on jobs that they don't know how to do, or that they may not have all the tools to do correctly. This does not necessarily mean that they will do the job wrong, but you know what they say "you get what you pay for." This is what it boils down to in the parking lot maintenance business here in Denver. There are many low cost companies that will get your pavement marking job done, unfortunately this can come at a cost. If your parking lot is not laid out properly, all of the parking area lines will have to be blacked out and redone. Not only is this an eyesore but it can detract from your company or place of business. Not only that, but you will have to pay to get your job redone correctly. Hiring a contractor that is qualified may come at slightly higher prices, but it will end up saving you money in the long run.

If you follow the three suggestions of this guide you can be sure that you will get your parking lot striping job done right the first time at the fairest price.

need ideas to cover up bad paint job with roller marks?

what else can i do besides sponge painting to cover up roller marks on walls. its a dark color with roller marks
btw. its a dark purplish color

you were applying to much pressure to your roller make sure you load the roller with adequate paint and apply in a "W" action to the wall, if your roller marks are bad they might need a very light sanding before another coat of paint is applied but either way you will need to repaint and use a good quaility head/sleeve for a better finish hammilton are very good
