Any recent grads having trouble finding a job?

I graduated in December with a Bachelor's in Accounting and I can't find a job to save my life! Accounting is supposed to be one of those fields where it's a piece of cake to find a job...which makes me feel like even more of a loser.

What can I do? I've tried my school's career services, craigslist, job search sites...even networking. Nothing works.

I graduated in May 2007 and also found it rough finding a job. I started working for myself with one part-time job working for an employer. I'm not financially stable by any means, but make enough to get by. I am still job hunting to this day.

One important thing I learned from my job hunting was, it doesn't matter what your experience, education, or field is... it's hard to find a job in this economy.

The only thing I can suggest is to get as aggressive as possible. Your networking may not be helping now, but those same people may have a lead in a few months, keep in touch with them. Are you even getting responses from cover letters/resumes you send out? If you aren't, I would address how you are sending them.

For awhile, I was e-mailing them or mailing and getting no responses. To get people's attention, I would go to a thrift store and pick up some really corny post cards (you know, the ones that have like a hotel room from the 60's) and write my cover letter on that.

That method did get me some freelancing work and had a better return rate than emailing. It served its purpose, and that was to get attention.

Think outside the box.

is clickjobs good site for hardware and networking?

iam searching for technical jobs that is hardware/networking. i found monster takes exp guys and jobsahead.com has no response. dice.com is shade better than the two.

Clickjobs.com is a good site for any Industry category. So you will find jobs matchng to your profile for sure. Register your CV and apply for relevant jobs.

Jobsites dont offer jobs directly. Its due to pricing/sales strategy etc..that majority of the Harware /networking companies are not able to afford these sites and none of them have a pricing policy to make use of this opportunity. New jobsites like clickjobs are generally more aggressive and aquire many employers from small and mediumscale industry category.

All the very Best
