SWOT ANALYSIS FOR STUDENTS

In the language of business, the SWOT analysis is defined as rational and comprehensive assessment of a company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that may affect strategic decisions significantly. Albert S Humphrey was the father of the SWOT analysis.
Any organization or individual or country can go for this analysis periodically to meet their objectives and goals. Organization planner or strategist is involved in the organization to carry out this analysis more effectively and efficiently. The person must be highly competent, motivated, with a positive slope of mind without bias or prejudice. Must be able to work harder under stress and tension and in a form mature and cool to bring out the best results from this analysis.
As the term implies, force: the positive side of an image, the weakness means the inability to possess specific trait or quality. A threat is a challenge due to the unfavorable progress or development until a defensive mechanism is created. A opportunity, availability of positive options for growth. Both strengths and weaknesses fall into the internal environment and opportunities and threats fall into the external environment. It is relatively easier to predict the internal environment while it is difficult to anticipate the external environment. The visionaries always identify threats and opportunities says saying "An optimist looks for opportunities in difficulties, a pessimist sees difficulty in opportunity." For example, late Dhirubhai H Ambani was a great visionary as he turned weaknesses into strengths and opportunities identified in an intelligent way threats in the era of controlled economy and built the Empire dependence in a span of three decades.
SWOT analysis of a small scale industry:

The weakness is that it is capable of expanding to other regions of AP due to technical problems.
Chances are, this particular segment has a wider scope, as consumers are aware of health and hygiene factors due to increasing literacy and affordability, because raising levels of disposable income. The company gradually can look to exports as an alternative option as their products are highly qualitative. The company also is aggressively making new brands and variants as GEMLIQ, which is designed for cleaning glass and plastic surfaces.
The threats that being an SSI is finding great difficulty in standing up against stiff competition from the major brands in this segment. And the company is expanding rapidly, companies may be unknown to the duplicity of these products and bring disrepute.
SWOT Analysis of Engg. Student:
Consider the analysis SWOT of a fresh Engg. Graduated. The same rating becomes a great force. Academic career achievements in primary level can be listed chronologically and as any extra curricular activities like NCC, NSS, and sports. If none of the prizes won in any university event either at regional or national level can be declared. Knowledge of a foreign language can be considered as a plus because if the future employer has an office in that country, the candidate can be placed there for better communication and for best results. National conference paper published on a specific topic can be useful. If the candidate worked part time and has gained experience while simultaneously involved in the academic standards proved very beneficial and organizations expect that the experience in many cases. And if any part-time training courses or, if the person had been the subject along with their normal level, it can also become a great asset.
In listing the points weak, the candidate must be discreet and to be honest as inaccurate assessment proved to be counterproductive. Given that the graduate has passed recently, lack of experience is a major weakness. Today, most candidates do not have soft skills despite being strong in capabilities "hard. Some people do not like to go on traveling to specific locations and can become a major weakness. The candidate must indicate out honestly if weaknesses his academic career. Or, organizations are smart enough to know the weak points which gives rise to the termination of employment.
Now days, the opportunities are many due to the rapid growth of the Indian economy. Many multinational companies are establishing offices and manufacturing units India, generating employment opportunities. Besides India is strong in information technology and leadership in many other sectors. Licensed in the middle of a job very easily if hard slogs. Companies are offering many facilities in addition to regular pay and perks. The candidates, even after to get the placement may go for higher qualifications, courses and find ample opportunities everywhere and can improve financially, mentally and intellectually. Job fairs are held frequently in various parts of India with walk-in interviews with their resumes and get instant loans. Candidates who are full of things, and resistance need not fear for the placement and, moreover, will get many options to continue the race of his taste and temperament. It should be noted ensure that the placement of a comma is not only a complete stop because they have to purchase many more titles, skills, abilities and experience to an end and that should become ready.
Sometimes it happens, the candidates can not get the placement right and is worth less to pursue a career profile as well as to acquire experience that can serve as a launching pad for better prospects in other parts of his next move.
This is the age of performers or perish. One who does not perform well or has not adapted very well served with letters of dismissal and that becomes a major threat. If the candidate joined the organization, appropriate as the opening were not available and where the company is not doing well, then stick to it can become a threat. It may also happen that the company can not find the right person for the right slot and if you later find a better and more appropriate, then there is also a possibility that existing staff being fired.
Candidates also must rely on honest assessment of your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in relation to his career vis and should proceed with confidence and optimism. A lot of work to do before applying post, otherwise it will be like a round peg into a square hole or a square peg in a round hole.
In conclusion, we must strengthen the ones strengths, overcome weaknesses in the management of threats effectively and should explore possibilities available to the hilt the assumption that once the opportunity is lost, is lost forever.
