Job God Evil
A House Is Not A Home Without God
The palatial mansion sat serenely on acres of well watered lawns, majestic trees and beautiful manicured hedges and foliage. Its architecture of massive stones accented with a stunning stone front porch and decorative brick columns; showed off a contemporary one level design. Walking through the double front doors you were immediately drawn past the living room to the back of the house where huge plate glass windows overlooked a manmade lake with a pier and small boats.
The house had many different levels with an elevated living room adorned with multiple built in curio cabinets at the opening surrounded by chairs and sofas fashioned in the art deco design. On the right side of the room, stood a massive stone pillar with a built in fireplace. Taking up the entire opposite side, plants were curved around a water fall that spilled out onto water ways that winded under slate tiles as if you were in the middle of a river bed. The only way to go through the entry by this tranquil scene was by stepping over slate tiles placed among the many river like paths.
My eyes were mesmerized as I gazed at the attention-grabbing view and marveled at the extraordinary architecture parading through each room and flowing outside the structure of the mansion. The different dimensions and levels of the house reflected a grand life of wealth. Off to the right of the house set back out of sight of the main property was the residence of the live-in servants. Everything reflected lives that had attained a certain amount of reputation and old wealth passed on from generation to generation.
As my eyes scanned the scene once more, an unexpected emptiness invaded my senses. A feeling that something important was missing from the house. Once again I looked inside the mansion and in a small enclosure next to the entrance to the living room, stood an idol representing the god of wealth and prosperity.
Acts 17: 22-28, "Paul stood up in front of the city council and said, 'I see that in every way you Athenians are very religious. For as I walked through your city and looked at the places of worship, I found an altar on which is written, 'To an unknown God.' That which you worship, then, even though you do not know it, is what I now proclaim to you. God, who made the world and everything in it, is Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in man-made temples. Nor does he need anything that we can supply by working for him, since it is he himself who gives life and breath and everything else to everyone. From one man he created all races of mankind and made them live throughout the whole earth. He himself fixed beforehand the exact times and the limits of the places where they would live. He did this so that they would look for him, and perhaps find him as they felt around for him. Yet God is actually not far from any one of us; as someone has said, 'In him we live and move and exist.' It is as some of your poets have said, 'We too are his children.'
We live in a world where people create meditating Zen rooms in order to bring peace into their chaotic lives. They seek peace because they realize our world is filled with many pit falls that lead to unforeseen difficulties. Problems that every person must face from job loss, loss of wealth, health concerns and natural disasters. This is the reason why many people reach out for more than the physical world; instead they seek the truth behind a spiritual existence.
In searching for peace many practice religions that are based on meditation. Clearing your thoughts of everything that fills your mind with negative thinking. It is a proven fact that people feel better when they let go of the problems and strive to focus on more positive things. They even support doing this when a person is fighting a life threatening disease by having them focus on eradicating the bad cells.
There are many religions in the world and all have some very fine values that can help a person as they cope with the bad things that happen. But none reveal the reason why a person is going through a life changing problem as clear as the message of Jesus Christ. Jesus takes our prayers and reveals the purpose behind the creation of the world. He leads us to paths that direct us to fight against evil by asking Him for help. Instead of mediation for the purpose of clearing your mind, He tells us through prayer, who created the disease and how to combat the problem.
1 Corinthians 2: 6&7, "Yet I do proclaim a message of wisdom to those who are spiritually mature. But it is not the wisdom that belongs to this world or to the powers that rule this world-powers that are losing their power. The wisdom I proclaim is God's secret wisdom, which is hidden from mankind, but which he had already chosen for our glory even before the world was made.
We live in a world that teaches all people the difference between right and wrong through the struggles they face in life. That means there must be unseen powers and forces that influence our thinking. There must be words spoken deep within the recesses of our mind that guide us either to paths of love or paths that encourage us to do evil. This is where the searching for the reason behind our existence begins. This is when we can be caught up by the different expressions represented by manmade gods, gods that do not teach us the reason why God made us in the first place.
Acts 17: 29-31, "Since we are God's children, we should not suppose that his nature is anything like an image of gold or silver or stone, shaped by the art and skill of man. God has overlooked the times when people did not know him, but now he commands all of them everywhere to turn away from their evil ways. For he has fixed a day in which he will judge the whole world with justice by means of a man he has chosen. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising that man from death!"
No other religion promises the ability to raise a dead person back to life. No one, but Jesus Christ tells us that if we trust Him and learn about Him we will feel relief from our present situation. This is the reason it is so important that meditation is changed to praying for protection against the spirits that try to destroy our lives. Evil spirits that create diseases, job loss, and natural disasters. Evil spirits that tell us to follow practices that do not lead to the saving power found in the message about Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 6: 12, "For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age."
When you practice religions that are separate from the knowledge of Jesus Christ then you open yourself up to beliefs that take you down evil paths. Spiritual influences that destroy the good teaching of Jesus and turn them into teachings that make you focus on yourself and what makes you feel good at the moment. This is opposite from the teaching of Jesus Christ. Jesus wants us to come to spiritual revelations about how doing good to others is better than rewarding ourselves with riches. Jesus' sacrifice is an example of what God desires for people's lives. Jesus coming alive again gives everyone hope that all will rise to a better life. A life free from the persecutions that happen to people in an imperfect world.
False gods demand that we think about ourselves and not others. This is why meditation rooms are so popular, because it is all about us. It is about having power, riches and people serving you. Jesus Christ wants us to help the homeless. Give up a kidney to help a person live. Give blood for the preservation of life. Do for others without expecting anything in return.
We live in a world that is at war on a spiritual realm of the unseen. A war fought by Jesus Christ against all evil spirits that lead them away from knowing the one and only true God. A God of love and compassion. A God that formed each person to come to know Him as we travel the journey of life that leads us to spiritual revelations. Knowledge that can only be gained when we learn the difference between good and bad. Choosing Jesus is making the very best choice for your life.
The house stood firm upon its foundation of wealth and idol worship, but in the end when the people passed away, it was torn down. "A House is not a Home without God!" Strive to put the teachings of Jesus Christ into your life and you will not be persuaded to follow a manmade God.

if God can not be in the presence of evil and Satan is so evil what was he doing in Heaven in the book of Job?
it's just another flaw in the bible and yet more proof that the bible is BS
l=Using the bibles own teachings alongside the flaws you can easily discredit anything the bible says till the only thing left in the bible that is real is o wait there are no words of truth in the bible

Job God Evil
Fr. Barron comments on God, the Tsunami, and the Problem of Evil
Bad Things Always Happen To God's People, But Why Me?
This is a question that people have been probably asking since the beginning of time. Way back when Adam bit that apple and was kick out of paradise, I am sure that he said why is this happening to me? When Sol went through his bad luck journey as he lost his wealth, his health, and the precious material things in life, he had to break down sometimes and just wonder why me?
When you or your love one discover that you have cancer or some incurable disease that is making your life pure hell while you waste away, I can understand why you would say, why me? When you lose your job, lose your home, lose your love one, or sometimes feel like you are losing your mind, you got to say why me? Why, oh Lord, why is this happening to me?
I say unto you, that before you ask why, you first need to know what. You see, before I can tell you why bad things happen, you first need to know what causes bad things to happen. People love to talk about good things, I been to many churches where all they ever seem to talk about is God. Yet to be able to fully understand the definition of something, you need to know the opposite of it to fully understand it. Like I say one word and you shout out the opposite. Hot, you say cold, good, you say bad, large, you say small, heaven, you say hell, God, and then you say Satan.
For you see if I just talk about God, I will never be able to tell you why bad things happen to God's people. You and I know that God is good, so if you have bad things happening around you, the first thing you should realize is that it has nothing to do with God, but just the opposite. Now, do you understand what I am getting at? Don't get the two confused, where there is good on one end there is evil on the other. Just like there is a God who is all good, you must realize that there is a Satan who is all bad. In other words, don't be trying to put Satan's blame on my dear Lord.
I have heard so many people looking bewildered just after a disaster has happened. A flood wipes out their neighborhood, a tornado tears down their church, cancer invade their body, or a child of there is born mentally or physically deformed. These bewildered people look at themselves and ask why did God do that? Listen closely, God did not do that, Satan did that. God can make it rain in order for your crops to grow, but Satan will take that rain and flood all your crops away.
Why did God do this, don't be ridiculous, where there is good on one side, there always lie evil on the other side. Where there is a Heaven above, there is, God's children, a Hell below. Just like a magnet one side positive, the other side negative. Whatever God creates, Satan is always looking for a way to destroy it.
I don't want to scare you, I am not trying to frighten you, but Satan is something that most of us are afraid to talk about. Some of you think if you don't talk about something or try to ignore that it exist, it might go away. Like a woman when she finds a lump on her breast and try to tell herself, oh it's nothing. You see Satan is like an incurable cancer, you can ignore him if you want to, but he won't go away.
That is why you better always keep your guard up. Like a good trained boxer, you need to always have that left up, because you never know when Satan is going to throw a blow. A lot of good fighters have been TKO by a blow that they never saw coming. Satan keeps both of his fists up and ready just waiting for the right time to throw that hay-maker at you. He is always there patiently waiting for you to make that one mistake, so he can say..Bamm, I got ya!
All throughout life you are going to get your bumps and bruises, believe me no matter how good you fight, old Satan always is going to get a few good licks in there on you. I don't know of any good fighter who never got hit during a real fight. As any boxing coach will tell you, there is nothing wrong with getting hit, just don't get knocked out. You are going to get hit, you might even get knocked down a few times, but God want you to get yourself up and get back in there and keep on fighting.
For if you believe in God, you know that you are ready to walk through the valley of death and fear no evil. If you know God, then you must know that evil can't harm what is precious to you and that is your soul. For Satan can hurt your body with blows and win a few rounds, but he can't win the fight unless you give up and give him the title to your soul.
Satan can hit you with cancer to eat away at your body, he can cause floods to wash away your crops, he can trick your love ones to turn on you and try to destroy you, and he can use those who worship him to steal and break into your home and harm your love ones.
However, no matter what Satan does to you, he can't win unless you give up. As long as you stay in the ring fighting him even if he got you backed up against the ropes. Just remember who got your back; just remember who is in your corner, for as long as you have God and you believe in him as much as he believes in you, Satan knows he can't win.
Now believe me, Satan is going to give it his best try, but as long as you keep jumping back up, no matter how many times he knock you down, believe me you'll always be saved by the bell. Don't give up, don't let Satan win, he can only win if you stop fighting. As long as you stand up to him, no matter how many painful hits, no matter how many times he knock you to the canvas, as long as you are determine to get back up, he can't win.
Praise the Lord, and say Hallelujah, when times in your life get the hardest, that is when you prove your faith to God. Life isn't easy and just like any good general in war, it is his best troops that he sends into battle. God only sends in his best soldiers to fight in Satan's war. When you have cancer, no job, no home, no one, and Satan is staring down his barrel at you, this is the time to show your faith in the Lord. For ask not what God can do for you, but ask what you can do for him. Lord, you can count on me, I won't let you down.
Be proud to be a soldier in God's army, scream out with love for God and don't hesitate to volunteer for his army. Satan can only win, if you allow him to win. For I will walk though the valley of death and fear no evil. My body is only a worthless shield that protects the precious soul that God has given to me. Thank you God, thank you Lord, I will not let you down.
Satan can throw his best shot at me; I will take it with a smile on my face. Satan can cause my body to rot away with cancer and disease, destroy my house, damage my children, have my love ones turn against me, but he will never win, for he will never get my soul.
Why do bad things happen to God's people, why you? Because Satan is not going after someone who is bad, he already got them. He going after the good, hoping that by causing them pain, by causing them losses, causing them deprivation, that they might give up hope, that they might lose their faith and turn away from God, long enough for him to get into them and destroy their soul.
Don't do it, you hear me, don't do it! Fight the devil, don't let the devil win. Fight Satan; fight him with everything you got. Hit him with your left fist, if he takes that one, hit him with your right. If he takes that one don't walk away, but kick him with your left leg. If he takes your left leg, jump up and kick him with your right. If he takes that leg then spit at him and then roll your body to try to knock him down, but whatever you do, don't ever give up.
God loves you and to prove to him that you love him, you got to keep on fighting. Look Satan straight in the eye and say bring it on. Bring it on Satan; because I am ready, I am ready to rumble.
