How to get a job - Legitimate, work from home based jobs!
Question about writing resumes.
When listing previous job experience is it better to make it short and to the point or to add more detail?
For example:
Should I just put my job title and a brief description like this:
10/08 - present: So and so inc. (Anywhere, NJ)
Illustrator.
Or should I include a list of some of my responsibilities as well?
Illustrator: So and so inc. (Anywhere, NJ) 3/08 - present
Maintained relations with clients and provided customer service
Time management
Supervised team of 10 employees
Maintaining industry standards
Primary marketing distributor for *** and ***** Pharmaceuticals
Accounts included companies such as ****
I know there's tons of links and tutorials on the web, but I'm really more interested in hearing peoples professional opinions.
The second choice, you want to be a specific as possible, how did you maintain industry standards. I am not so sure what the time management is suppose to mean, most every job has an element of time management. I suggest you research the company and find out what they are looking for and then you can respond by listing what skill would be beneficial to them. Especially do this in your cover letter. I'm an Employment Specialist and have written tons of resumes and cover letters and I know which ones get results and those are the ones I have customized to each employer. P.S make sure your prospective employer doesn't see the picture you are using here, that would be a job killer, unless you work for the NRA
