Every time someone clicks on your advertisement link, the company that the link directs to tracks the IP address, and if the IP address makes a purchase you get a percentage of the sale(s). Sound pretty neat, huh? It's actually amazing, a billion dollar industry, and there are kids making money by being an internet marketer (any form of making money online). I've actually seen a 10 year old kids video trying to get email addresses to make money from email marketing. Now, most email marketing is spam, but it can be done differently, and I'm not suggesting spamming, I'm just using the kid as an example.
