Osama, You Are Fired

Osama, You Are Fired.

Every now and then, we hear politicians making bizarre decisions hence either fuming people or chuckling people to death with their unacceptable decisions.  These politicians can range from the grassroots up to the number ONE which can be a President or Prime Minister of a country. Basically, they are politicians and they are superior at only that. Similar to a PH.D holder, if he is an Agricultural scientist, he or she won't be able to tell you how to build an airplane. It is a rule of thumb.

Let's have a look at American Donald Trump. This multi-millionaire is known for: "You Are Fired!" in his television shows and as I could remember, according to him, he built his business empire from rags and now to riches. Now, Donald Trump is targeting to be the next President of the United States of America in year 2012. It is good to dream and aim high in life but, certain people should not be allowed to head a country with the most sophisticated arms ever produced available in his backyard.

One of Mr. You Are Fired's resolutions is to take over Iraq completely and take their oil back to the United States. Is this not called stealing in the United States or is it just simple business dealings? I was in awe to read this kind of statement from a supposedly well respected business person with a multi-million dollar business empire and I am sure that even Americans would agree with how I felt. Mr. Trump also said that he will impose 40% tax on China made goods. The question is; will Americans stop buying goods made in China after an increase in tax?  Wouldn't this further increase an inflation rate normal Americans are suffering now?  When a further inflation happens in the United States, wouldn't it spill out and affect other countries as well? Personally Mr. Trump, "You Are Fired!"

The former is a United States President Wannabe. Now, let's have a look at the current President; Barrack Obama, on how he handles the current Osama bin Laden assassination.

Osama himself, openly admitted that he is the one responsible for the 9/11 incident which caused thousands of lives ten years ago. After this incident, George Bush, the former US launched a mega manhunt for him resulting in the attack on Iraq and Afghanistan. Coincidently, Iran was stubbornly running its' Nuclear project otherwise Iran too would have been bombarded in the name of eliminating weapons of mass destruction. Wonder after all this years, did they find the "WMDs" in Iraq yet?

In many ways, Osama deserves the hunt down and assassination on 1st May 2011. What Obama forgot is Osama was in his very mind fighting for a cause. In this case, it is in the name of Islam. A politician as he is, Obama forgot the sensitivity of other Muslims. When asked where the body of Osama is, the answer was: his body is thrown into the sea and was rest according to Muslim rites.

There could be two meanings to this. Firstly, this is the sign of disrespect for the deceased and secondly, that there were no burial areas at all for the deceased. Definitely the second option won't apply and it clearly shows that Obama and his people have got no respect for the deceased.  We would understand why. After all, Osama took responsibility for the collapse of US's iconic towers and her Pentagon. But, as a civilised country and a country which promotes democracy and liberty, are Obama and his people doing the right thing by dumping his body into the sea without regards to the religion of the deceased?

In Islam, when a person is killed on land, then he or she must be buried on land and if the person is killed on sea, then the body can be buried in the ocean. Most importantly, it is quite impossible for the United States unable to locate the family of Bin Laden. His family has a construction conglomerate and holdings company in United Arab Emirates responsible for many mega buildings around the Arab world. In due respect to the Islamic religion, Obama could of just returned Osama's body back to his family. Everybody deserves a proper burial.

To make matters worse, Obama's men admitted to assassinating their most wanted man unarmed. Even though Osama is considered the most hated man on earth, in the name of humanitarian grounds, does he not deserve a fair trial? Looks like the Obama administration had already given him a trial with one or more bullets through Osama's head codenamed: Operation Geronimo. Geronimo is a Native Red Indian born in United States and later in his life fought against Americans whom invaded his tribal land. Geronimo is considered an enemy to the United States; in his homeland. No wonder Donald Trump feels it is not a problem to invade Iraq and take their oil without remorse.

The point here is, most non-Muslims and this include many politicians, will not understand what is in an individual Muslim's mind about his or her own faith. There is this widely misunderstood word called "Jihad". It does not necessarily mean violence but necessary to uphold the truth regarding the oneness of God. This knowledge will be thought to a Muslim the very moment he or she learns about the Islamic faith.  In every single Muslim, it is their duty to uphold and protect the faith whether it is diplomatically or violently when provoked with violence. Did Osama provoke violence in the name of Islam even though without being provoked? Now with his body probably been eaten up by JAWS, we are being left to figure it out for ourselves. One of the most important evidence of truth and lies lay scattered on the ocean floor.

Now the United States have got their man, will they be pulling out from Iraq and Afghanistan soon? We all know that the Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq are still hiding somewhere in Iraq as Saddam Hussein did a fantastic job by hiding it. Obama's administrative will still need more time to locate those dangerous weapons. As for Afghanistan, are Osama's men cornered yet? These men are hiding in caves with dangerous animals hiding in it too and it is quite difficult to locate those enemies. So Obama may need more time in Afghanistan. Let's sit and watch for the next drama to unfold.

By assassinating Osama Bin Laden unarmed and dumping his body into the sea, Barrack Obama and his administration have given Osama a perfect death which is to die a Martyr. Did the United States achieve her sweet revenge for the 9/11 incident? Maybe by giving Osama a perfect Martyrdom is a sign of gratitude for his "contributions" or maybe by dumping the "Most Wanted" man's body into the sea is to make sure the very mouth they fed is shut forever. The perfect sentence for Osama Bin Laden: "You Are Fired!"

Military: How do I get a date?

All I've know is war. I'm a 10+ year vet of the US military in Iraq and Afghanistan. I live in my mother's basement. I have a college degree in sociology. I'm unemployed and can't get a job b/c I have PTSD and I lash out but I am trying to get hired at construction firms and fast food restaurants and retail stores. I want to meet women and get married and have a family. I'm stuck in isolation and can't meet anyone.

you could try talking to women that are soldiers or that have finished their contracts. they might be more likely to relate to your situation.

remember that this isn't the battle field.
sh*t is pretty boring at home.

don't give up

Go To War For Your Country And Become Unemployable

More than 15 percent of Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans were unemployed in January, far higher than the national jobless rate and the highest since the government began collecting data on veterans in 2005, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said on Friday. That is the number that the gov't realeases. Imagine what it really is.

That rate could go even higher if the U.S. military begins winding down operations in Afghanistan and a flood of veterans return home looking for work, a veterans' advocate said.

"These numbers need to be a wake up call for all Americans because there is really no excuse for this," said Todd Bowers, deputy executive director for Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.

The government said 15.2 percent of veterans were out of work in January, up from 12.6 percent the same month a year ago. This compares with a overall U.S. unemployment rate of 9.0 percent seasonally adjusted and 9.8 percent without adjustment. The government data for veterans is only presented without adjusting for seasonal differences.

Bowers, a Staff Sergeant in the Marine Corps Reserves, said the increase is because multiple deployments have become standard operating procedure for a stretched military.

"You've got folks who are active duty, national guard, and the reserves who have done three, four, five, six deployments and that makes it extremely difficult to come home... and jump back into the workforce for a brief period of time and head out again," he said.

The 31-year-old Bowers was deployed four times and had to step back from active reserve so he could get his career back on track.

"I had just been jumping back and forth from Iraq to Afghanistan and then coming back and trying to get my feet into the workplace."

Senator Patty Murray of Washington state, chair of the Veterans Affairs committee, introduced legislation in April of last year to give veterans extra assistance after veteran unemployment reached double digits.

The proposed legislation would create and expand federal programs to equip and retool veterans for working in the civilian world and expand job assistance for soldiers going through the transition.

Economic Policy Institute Economist Heidi Sheirholz said that most military veterans are young men with less education, and jobs for that group have been especially hard hit during the recession.

She said the rate may also be higher because of a decline in construction jobs during the winter. And she said the rate may also reflect a sharp rise of 10 percent in the number of veterans over the past year.

Some fear that with the military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan slimming down, and reductions in the defense budget, a growing number of veterans will hit the job market.
