Will I get a decent paying job majoring in Fine Arts? Anyone with personal experiences?
I am a High School Senior and I am deciding on what college I want to go to. I want to go to Art institute of los angeles or california college of arts in San Francisco (cca).
I browsed through all the different art options for undergraduates and realized that fine arts seems to be what im most experienced so far..... although, i am interested in jewelry/metal working except i have no experience and also fahion/merchandise....but again I have no experience......my dream job is to have a online website or buisness that holds all my creations....and then I sell it 
So is fine arts a good categorie to major to get a good job?

all of a sudden go to jewelry/metal art and fashion/merchandising??
It can if you work or do an internship while you are in college so you can get real world experience.
My son has a studio arts major. He does sound recording work and he does okay with it. He even does a lot of producing.
There is a lot of demand for graphic artists these days, using computers to create art for advertising, websites, logos, etc. You could also work in the computer gaming industry.
